Excuse the suspect quality of the video, but this is too great not to post. Last night during her show in Sydney, Australia, she performed this awesome cover of Nirvana’s hit from the 1993 album In Utero. Props to NME. Lana says of the decision to cover the song live:

“When I was 11, I saw Kurt Cobain singing ‘Heart Shaped Box’ on MTV and it really stopped me dead in my tracks. I thought he was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. Even at a young age, I really related to his sadness.”
